MEMO · TO executives, business owners and mid-market leaders · RE the two facilitated programmes run at Praxora Lab
Workshops
Two programmes, matched to where you are
A half-day diagnostic for executives who need a scored readiness baseline and a governance checklist, and a two-day masterclass for business owners ready to rebuild their business model for AI. No prior technical knowledge is required for either. Facilitated by Terence Kok.
Two approaches, not one investment
Training your staff and designing your AI strategy are not the same project.
McKinsey's 2025 State of AI research keeps finding the same shape: most organisations have adopted AI somewhere, and most still haven't turned that into results. Eighty-eight percent of companies use AI in at least one function, fewer than forty percent report large-scale deployment, and only six percent report a significant financial benefit from it. The reason isn't a training gap or a strategy gap alone, it's that the two are being run as one investment when they are actually two. Roughly seventy percent of AI's value comes from changing how a company works, its workflows, roles and decision rights, a leadership decision no amount of tool training can substitute for. The other side matters just as much: close to half of employees say training is the factor that determines whether AI adoption succeeds, and close to half say they have received little or none. Exhibit ยท McKinsey, 2025 State of AI

~70%
of AI's value comes from redesigning how work gets done
The leadership-level work: deciding how AI changes what the company does, not just which tools it uses. McKinsey has found that when a CEO personally oversees how AI is governed, it is the single strongest predictor of a larger profit payoff, and that handing AI projects to IT alone is a reliable way to fail. Yet sixty-six percent of boards still have little hands-on AI experience of their own. This is the discipline behind the Executive Programme and the Masterclass, led by Terence Kok: a scored readiness baseline, a governance checklist and a business model rebuilt around AI, decided at the level that can actually authorise the change.
The workforce-level work: giving employees the skill to execute whatever strategy leadership sets, necessary but not sufficient on its own. Only thirty-seven percent of employees say their organisation has formally implemented AI to improve productivity, even as informal use spreads through teams unmanaged. This is the discipline Dr. Joshua Lau leads at Praxora Lab, a WSQ and HRDC accredited adult educator who has delivered generative AI, agentic AI and IAPP AIGP certification training to more than 1,000 learners across Singapore and Malaysia. Capacity building is available as a corporate in-house engagement alongside either workshop, on enquiry.
